The bowl was 100% hand-painted, in the midst of winter 2018-2019, just after my Mom, Laura Elena, was told to leave the house where we lived.
The flowers are unique, although some times she would manage to keep a tracing of the original and paint two or three the same, making each flower pattern closely matching each other. They are painted with mostly acrylic impasto and some Vetro Design by Maimeri, nuances favoured by many artists.
It's an impasto painting technique, practical since it has a varnish layer, but it's safer to put non-food items in it.
Raluca called it the Blumarine wishes and dreams. The box has a special dedication, also written by my Mom with her unique calligraphy.
