I am reaching the age of reflection. I look back and feel proud of my sons, grandchildren, andWendy wonderful years working with children and their families. I am still full of ideas and still connected to so many lovely people through my supervision and training. I have been lucky enough to have four careers: a psychiatric nurse, teacher, counsellor and supervisor and now writer. I love creativity and teaching Adlerian principals experientially and creatively. I enjoy empowering others to develop and reach their potential and hopefully to whom I can hand over the reins!

Bruce Greenhalgh, (Adler Dip., MA Couns. FCIPD, BACP Accred) has been a tutor on the Bucks Adlerian Training course for over twelve years. He has worked in the area of corporate Employee Assistance and wellbeing programme’s for over thirty years. He has been trained to teach mindfulness on the world renowned master’s program at Bangor University and also at the Search Inside Yourself leadership institute in San Francisco where the SIY program was first developed in Google.


Keith Lewis trained as a volunteer counsellor and received accreditation from Westminster College, Oxford in 1992. He has worked for a private
counselling agency Keithfor the past 19 years, during that time he trained as a supervisor, qualified to work in FE and was an agency tutor for five years.
Although regarded as an Integrative Counsellor his practice is grounded in a Person Centred approach and, with a co-trainer, assisted in the design and implementation of a rigorous skills based training programme.
One of Keith's current roles is to introduce second year students in further education to the therapeutic frame, an important task in boundary setting.
                    Jill Reynolds BSc.IIP Dip. IIP accredited, IIP Supervisor is currently a core tutor on the Bucks jillAdlerian Counselling & Practitioner Training in Aylesbury.  She did her Adlerian counselling training between 1995 and 1999, and her tutor apprenticeship between 2000-2001, alongside completing a Psychology degree with the Open University.   She was awarded the ASIIP Diploma in 2006, the ASIIP Certificate in Adlerian Supervision in 2007, and in that same year, became an Accredited Adlerian Counsellor.  She is a tutor in adult education and has a private counselling practice in Buckingham seeing adults, children and working with families.

 Ursula Oberst : Professor Ursula Oberst has a Ph.D. and teaches Psychology at Ramon Llull University in Barcelona (Spain). She earned her degree in Psychology in Germany, her country of birth, and then received training as Adlerian Counsellor at the Alfed-Adler-Institute in Zurich (Switzerland). Besides her position at the University, dedicated to teaching and research into the effect of digital technologies in human behaviour, she works as an Adlerian psychotherapist in Barcelona and gives courses and lectures on Adlerian Psychology and Adlerian Education in Spain and South America, and also has published books on the Adler-Dreikurs approach to raising children.

coach and supervisor in private practice. Co-founder and director of Coach Training School at the Adler Institute Israel. Faculty member of the Adlerian School for Professional Psychotherapy in Israel. Master Coach certified by the International Coach Federation.


 christine 2Christine Nutt MSc Int Psych, Dip Sup, Dip Psych, Dip Couns, Cert Ed is a UKCP Registered psychotherapist and qualified as a counsellor, supervisor (individual and group) and teacher of adults in post-compulsory education and training.  She has taught on a range of counselling courses in Further Education and facilitates assertiveness training, stress management, personal development, parenting and CPD workshops. Trained at the Metanoia Institute, she has a keen interest in Adlerian Psychotherapy and is a regular attendee at the Summer Schools. Christine is Head of Training at an agency in Chelmsford, counsels students at the University of Essex, has a private psychotherapy and supervision practice and is a BACP accreditation assessor. DuncDuncan Summer Schoolan Stewart has been foraging wild food and studying wild skills for many years. He gains great pleasure from enabling others to develop and learn these skills too with an emphasis on encouraging a healthy respect for our environment and an appreciation for the spiritual growth being in the outdoors can bring. He is also an accomplished and experienced musician and can always be found happily playing songs around the campfire. He earns his bread and butter as a highly skilled carpenter and specialises in restoration work.

Pam 2PAM BRIDGMAN RGN.RHV.Diploma in Adlerian Counselling. MBACP

After qualifying in Adlerian Counselling, Pam spent 17 years working in General Practice setting up a full  counselling service in G.P. Practices in Aylesbury, and raising the profile of counselling within these organisations.

Until recently she worked in the Occupational Health Department at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and now has a private counselling practice in Thame, Oxfordshire.
